1. Recommendations with cow's milk allergy
 
  • Use only products without cow's milk parts.
  • Instant infant milk and follow-on milk are not suitable.
  • Look out for hidden milk parts like whey powder, Casein or cream. In case of doubt contact the manufacturer!
According to the current knowledge of nutritional scientists, hypo-allergenic nutrition represents the most efficient protection to prevent a potential cow's milk allergy.

If a cow's milk intolerance has been identified, no hypo-allergenic milk food can be fed because it is also based on cow's milk.

The following list shows alternatives to cow's milk or infant milk food:

 
 
Hypo-allergenic milk food (HA food/ HA 1, HA 2)
 
Animal milk (Contains Lactose = sugar of milk)
 
Vegetable-based milk (Free from Lactose = sugar of milk)

2. Recommendations with cereal allergy
 
  • If a celiac disease (gluten intolerance) has been identified, gluten-free cereals are suitable: Rice, millet, corn
