Break 3 slices of baby rusk into small pieces and place in a bowl. Bring 120 ml of a milk of your choice (breast milk, whole milk or infant milk) and 60 ml of water to the boil and pour evenly over the top. Leave to swell briefly, mash or puree if your child prefers a fine consistency or is still at the beginning of the porridge diet. Stir and allow to cool to eating temperature (37°C). You can also prepare the porridge dairy-free as a fruit porridge. To do this, simply replace the milk with hot water and fruit puree.
